The Powerwin Group was established primarily for research in ways and means of energy conservation, non-fossil fuel based energy systems, solar energy, and water management and conservation. The company has created concepts, inventions and products dedicated to the above fields, either through extensive research and engineering inventions, or procuring the best possible technologies across the world. Our focus has been hassle free management of the respective systems/equipment, resulting in massive savings and cost effective management of the available resources. Our efforts, concepts and inventions have been recognized internationally, and the Government of India has honoured us with patent number 273064 under rule 74 of patent rules, for our invention of an on-line Electrical Power Saver. We have directly been able to reduce power demands by upto 25%, directly in KVA terms, leading not only in immense savings by our clients without affecting their operations or performance, but also contributed to conservation of electricity to that extent. The company has been awarded as the Best Regional Enterprise – 2016 by the World Business Assembly – an elite European institution. As a group, we are also into infrastructure projects involving Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering, and are now developing a sharp focus on renewable forms of energy, including setting up solar plants for customers on a turnkey basis and generating our own solar power for use of esteemed customers. Our constant efforts in the field of new and renewable energy have been duly recognized and rewarded by the government of India. In 2017, the Ministry of New and Renewal Energy of the Government of India has empanelled the company vide empanelment number MNRE/CP/GCRT/C/27/19. Our efforts are spearheaded by our Founder, and Managing Director Er Shitalkumar Salunkhe, M.Tech. in Power and Energy Systems from IIT Kharagpur. With a passion for new technology and an unquenching thirst for research and development, Mr Salunkhe’s efforts have been hailed and recognized all over the country and beyond. He is the recipient of the “Rashtriya Rattan” Awarrd for his R&D efforts and innovations, from the Hon Governor of Andhra Pradesh in 2006. His papers and presentations on “Energy Conservation Technologies” have fetched him many awards and accolades – notably an award at the hands of the then Energy Minister of Maharashtra Shri Padamsingh Patil. His inventions have been rewarded with trade marks and global patents, and he is now poised to take his efforts to totally a different level.
