Established in 1991, Powertip is a manufacturer specialized in the research, development and production of LCD module. Powertip is headquartered in Taichung, Taiwan with production facilities located in both Taiwan and Nanjing, China. Powertip's display solutions address major industries including medical, industrial control, automotive, home appliances, communications, meters and POS applications. With high standards concerning technology and production capability, COG, SMT, OCR, the product is dedicated to meet customer's design used in harsh environment. Powertip offers STN/VATN LCD module, and 1.44”~23” TFT module implemented high sensitivity capacitive touch panels that offer water and glove resistance. With its own MCU/MPU control boards and SoM module family, Powertip's embedded display solutions, including display optical performance design, mechanical development, BSP and workflow UI (user interface) support, allow customers to drive their product to the market faster and easier.
