Piotrode Medical AB has developed new technology platforms for biopotential sensors. These technology platforms have shown great promise to dramatically reduce noise and interference from motion induced artifacts. This revolutionary technology could be implemented into electrodes, ECG cables and equipment. Sensors and electrodes are the weak link in today’s biopotential recording systems. Prior Art sensor technology is the main limiting factor why remote patient monitoring hasn’t been able to deliver the potential benefits to health and wellbeing. The new technology platforms from Piotrode Medical AB has this potential and could subsequently offer the possibility to reduce cost for the health care systems as expected by various stakeholders.
