Overview

We are active at national and international level in promoting Polish companies in the clothing and textile industry. We create a positive image of the Polish clothing and textile sector. We create opportunities to increase competitiveness of the sector on foreign markets. We represent the interests of entrepreneurs in relation to state and local government bodies as well as national and foreign organizations. We apply for the creation of advantageous support instruments from EU aid funds and domestic sources. We provide opinions on draft legal acts. We present proposals of legislative changes. We prepare branch statistical reports. We establish cooperation with foreign partners. We create a network of cooperative relations. PIOT is: - a member of the European Confederation of Clothing and Textile Industry EURATEX, - a member of the Trilateral Industry Group for the Light Industry, - a co-author of the sector policy for the Łódź Province MODERN TEXTILE and FASHION INDUSTRY, - a partner of projects: * Sectoral Competence Council for Fashion and Innovative Textiles, * Interreg ENTER
