In times of global public health crisis, PinPoint will bring back confidence to people to safely go to stores, with live data on how busy a place is. As more than half of world’s population has been confined, social distancing measures will have a lasting psychological impact on ourselves, even after the immediate public health threat. PinPoint can therefore benefit from exponential growth around the world, where stores have CCTV footage, and agree to let us access their footage to process it with our deep learning model. PinPoint will initially apply a deep learning model to track foot traffic (available to users), detect social distancing violations and face mask detection (for the business and/or government use). The business will use stores’ CCTV footage to upload into the Cloud to be processed by our Deep Learning Model. The footage will not be stored, and through a unique and user-friendly interface will report the current data.
