PigView uses artificial intelligence to analyse the birth process in piglet rearing farms with the aim of detecting complications at an early stage and reducing suckling piglet losses during and after birth. Currently, manual, time-consuming observation and birth care takes place in many stables in order to be able to guarantee safe and fast piglet rearing after birth. Due to its biological nature, this requires use at all times of the day and night. PigView evaluates camera images with the help of artificial neural networks in order to draw helpful conclusions from the activities in the barn and to meaningfully assist farmers during birth phases. The associated relief and the achievement of productivity gains is PigView's primary goal.
