Overview

Pierce County Alliance is a private non-profit social service agency organized to deliver a wide range of services to the citizens of Washington State. Incorporated originally as “The Pierce County Drug Alliance” in 1972 to coordinate local drug treatment services, the name was changed in 1981 to reflect a broader range of programs undertaken by the agency. Pierce County Alliance has grown from a staff of six to over 80 professionals as the agency expanded programs to better respond to community needs and the multi-faceted problems of substance abuse and mental health.
