Founded in 1820, Pickering & Chatto has been dealing in rare books for the best part of two centuries. Since 2006 we have been based in Mayfair’s New Bond Street, and have a stock of some 1700 books, principally in the fields of philosophy, social sciences, European literature, science, medicine, politics, and women’s studies, from the fifteenth century to the first decades of the twentieth.
