Why ‘Partners in Change’? We are more than just a change management consultancy, but successful change is the ultimate objective of all our clients. As consultants we don’t just tell you what you should do, but work with you step-by-step to co-create plans and bring them to fruition. We aim genuinely to be your ‘Partners in Change’, whatever your starting point and wherever the change journey takes your organisation. With the blizzard of articles, posts and consulting offers out there it’s hard to know which initiatives are likely to have the biggest impact on your organisation and deliver the greatest ROI. Our recommendation is always to take a step back and re-visit what your organisation is trying to achieve, then spend time working out the most effective way to support these objectives through people processes. Sometimes this will confirm existing thinking, but it may also reveal gaps that could limit the effectiveness of what you’re planning. What’s needed is a ‘critical path’ of initiatives: what should be done first vs later; what can be executed in parallel and what is merely ‘nice to have’. Resource limitations – people and budget – should also be factored into the plan. It’s sometimes said that any change that’s truly important to an organisation should not be left to consultants. That’s why we recommend that an engagement also includes partnering to help deliver the change, helping your teams plan, skill-up and even select third party vendors where required. Working alongside professionals who have managed similar initiatives helps you avoid pitfalls and save time while retaining ownership of the change.
