Overview

"Together, we're making the arts accessible to all while building peace through music and education. A not-for-profit, charitable organization, Pianos for Peace has helped to improve life for people and transform underserved communities by making the arts accessible to all and utilizing the soft power of music. Pianos for Peace is one of the largest public arts display in Atlanta and has displayed and donated over 100 artist-created Pianos for Peace to underserved schools, nursing homes, public hospitals, community centers, and other organizations in need. Pianos for Peace collaborated with local and international nonprofit organizations, engaging artists, students, community leaders and replicated our successful program in other states as well as selected international relief sites. Pianos for Peace volunteer opportunities include designing and painting Pianos for Peace, engaging in our community art programs at a senior home, performing at children’s hospitals, creating an art program in a refugee camp and much more. Pianos for Peace was founded by composer and pianist Malek Jandali with the mission of building peace through music and education.
