Overview

The Preeminent Education and Research Association (PERA) is an association formed by self-financed universities in Maharashtra with the aim of encouraging, promoting, and facilitating higher education, research, and other co-curricular activities. Its objectives include representing self-financed universities at various regulatory bodies and legal forums, conducting Common Entrance Tests (CETs) for professional degree programs, and promoting collaborations between industry and academia. PERA also works to support self-financed universities in obtaining accreditations from various agencies at national and international levels.
