Overview

PEOPLE'S VOLUNTEER AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS: Promote social awareness through basic education and literacy programs, livelihood, youth programs, and sports, public image, and inter-agency collaboration. MANDATE: Be the leading civil society organization in responding to the Government’s National Anti-Drug Campaign Drive by applying the PVAID 5 Pillars of Action with emphasis on Pillar No 2 – Drug Demand Reduction Strategy, Pillar No 3 – Alternative Development, Pillar No 4 – Civil Awareness and Response and Pillar No 5 – Local and International PVAID VISION: Cooperation to emancipate the country from the ill-effects of illegal drugs and substance abuse. To introduce a balance and holistic National Anti-Drug program for every Filipino family, workplace and school community in order to achieve a genuine drug free society. PVAID MISSION To represent the aspiration of every Filipino family, work sectors and the school community towards drug free and drug resistant environment by way of influencing the policies of government to adopt one balance and holistic program in the community, work place and school. To develop a policy that will produce standard training and stable livelihoods for the community life trending programs and projects towards providing more incomes in the countryside and uplift the socio-economic conditions of the urban poor. To see that the urban poor residents, workers, out-of-school youth and students have more social protection, standard income and enjoy the basic necessities in life as productive citizens with nationalist views towards a progressive community as one Filipino citizen.
