Pekeza Capital was born out of the frustrations that face African entrepreneurs in accessing quality funding and consultancy in their quest to solve African problems. We have turned these frustrations into opportunities to partner with the startup ecosystem to unlock those latent ideas. Pekeza comes from two Swahili words Pepea (fly) and Ekeza (Invest) and aims at spearheading transformational growth of entrepreneurship in the continent through activating, investing and scaling African tech startups that are solving pressing African problems that are still underfunded, around: • Access to quality and affordable Healthcare (HealthTechs) • Food security (AgriTechs) • Access to quality and affordable education (EdTechs)
