Founded in 1985, Partners of Parks in a nonprofit, public benefit corporation supporting public parks, recreation and marine programs and facilities in the city of Long Beach. Partners of Parks supports the City of Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine programs by managing strategic partnerships and seeking development opportunities that support PRM activities, especially benefiting Long Beach teens, seniors, and economically disadvantaged children. The organization also partners with community groups who benefit City of Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine assets and programs, including Friends of El Dorado Nature Center, Rosie the Riveter Foundation, Uptown Jazz Festival, Pedal Movement and others.
