Parallel Project Training

Overview

Parallel Project Training works with individuals and corporate clients to develop a self sustaining ability to consistently deliver successful projects. The company offers a highly innovative approach to project management training. Their courses include APMP, PRINCE2, risk management, estimating, and project leadership and will lead to accreditation where available. They are delivered using a combination of printed study material, e-learning, podcasts and classroom workshops offering exceptional value for money. Parallel have developed many bespoke project management training programmes leading to professional qualifications but they also focus on the behaviours and competencies needed to deliver complex projects. Their emphasis is on developing and refining real-world project management skills rather than simply enabling delegates to acquire theoretical knowledge. As such the participants on their training programmes are exposed to highly realistic role-play designed to simulate challenging project scenarios. Parallel is very responsive to the vision of its corporate clients and work closely with them to develop high-quality and truly bespoke training programmes. They include a wide range of flexible approaches, depending on the client needs, for instance distance learning using live virtual classroom sessions for training international delegates, which has all the benefits of distance learning, such as reducing the time away from the office, but also combines individuals from the same organisation but different parts of the world on one training course. Their course allow participants to work in a way that fits readily around their on-going work commitments, whilst still having the support of one-to-one tutors and an active online community. Some of the major organisations that Parallel have delivered training programmes for include: • National Trust • Network Rail • Turner & Townsend • Dstl (Defence Science & Technology Laboratory)
