Paloma Productions is a Copenhagen-based boutique film production company founded in 2019 by producers Julie Friis Walenciak and Per Damgaard Hansen who previously produced such titles as WINTER BROTHERS(Locarno IFF, 2017), THE RETURN(Rotterdam IFF, 2018) and NEON HEART(San Sebastian IFF, 2018). The first title to come out of Paloma Productions was Eva Marie Rødbro’s feature doc I LOVE YOU I MISS YOU I HOPE I SEE YOU BEFORE I DIE(2019) which premiered at IDFA in First Appearance-competition. Since then other Paloma-titles have seen the light of day: feature film THE BLUE ORCHID(Austin Film Festival, 2020) by Carl Marott, feature doc SHOW DANCER(CPH:DOX, 2020)by Laurits Flensted-Jensen and tv-series PONYLOVE(CPH:DOX, 2022) by Eva Marie Rødbro. In 2022 Per Damgaard Hansen also co-produced Ruben Östlund’s Palme D’or-winner TRIANGLE OF SADNESS. Upcoming feature films count Jeppe Rønde’s ACTS OF LOVE, Jessica Hausner’s CLUB ZERO(co-production), Lila Aviles’ TOTEM(co-production) as well as Simon Staho’s THE STRANGER. Besides that we have projects in development with directors such as Andrea Storm Henriksen, Carl Marott, Emma Rosenzweig, Eva Marie Rødbro, John Skoog, Laurits Flensted-Jensen and Marina Vorobyeva.
