Overview
The Oxford University Engineering Society (OUEngSoc) was established in 1998 and has grown to become one of the largest societies within the university. It exists to support both undergraduate and graduate Engineering students. We aim to promote the Engineering profession and those jobs associated with the skill set provided by an Engineering degree. Over 500 paying members with a mailing list that reaches over 1500 students. Our membership comprises students from a range of backgrounds: Engineering Science, Materials Science, Engineering Economics and Management and Physics to name but a few. The society recognises that previous members have gone on to careers within Engineering, Finance and Management organisations and hence seeks to provide opportunities for students and such companies to interact.
