Overview

Overtake was formed in 2021 during Melbourne's sixth lockdown when a group of students at Trinity College realised the challenge younger university students face seeking to obtain relevant work experience. Overtake was established by realising the wealth of knowledge in the community and the potential to create a streamlined process of connecting students with a mentor in their relevant field. During Overtake's pilot program the founders seek to draw on their own knowledge of applying to industry providing younger students advice on interview skills, resume building and drafting cover letters. Overtake is actively seeking expressions of interest from both students that wish to be a part of the pilot program and recruiting mentors that wish to be a part of giving back to the next generation.
