Organiponic Inc. aims to promote pesticide-free, healthy and sustainable eating by providing people the opportunity to grow green leafy vegetables and herbs in their homes all year round. Like the microwave and the coffee maker, the company believes that its home-grow systems will disrupt the consumer food market by becoming an integral part of kitchens across the world. After extensive research in the company headquarters, Organiponic Inc. determined that traditional hydroponic systems faced many challenges - high price points, poor usability, long payback periods, unappealing visual designs, and burdensome clean-up and maintenance processes. The firm has spent the last few years developing, enhancing, and refining its product line to meet the needs of the end user. The systems have been designed to address all of the challenges mentioned here. Organiponic Inc. has successfully built 9 systems that are fully functional, 3 of which are targeted towards consumers at home. It is currently going through a Fundraising Campaign to raise funds in order to bring its consumer systems to market and thereby transition to its next phase of technology proliferation.
