Open Systems Group, Inc. (OSG) is a company that was founded in Tarrant County Texas by John Marx in 1989. OSG was a garage startup that provided diversified professional services to government and commercial organizations. OSG doubled in size five years in a row and was recognized by Ince Magazine as the 127th fastest growing private company in America in 1997. (https://www.inc.com/magazine/19961015/2077.html) OSG received numerous growth awards as the Dallas Tech 50, RCGA Fast 50 in Saint Louis and other organizations. John Marx, the company's founder was nominated Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the year in 1997. Marx served in elected office as Mayor of Town and Country Missouri after serving on several civic committees including the Strategic Planning Committee, the Board of Adjustment, and the Planning and Zoning Commission. OSG operated offices in Dallas, Irving, San Antonio, Saint Louis, and Pittsburgh before its acquisition by Dayspring Systems in 2005. OSG was a certified vendor to the Federal Government and Department of Defense as a GSA authorized vendor. OSG was the key developer of Para-Docs, a web based document management system.
