Leverage your IP and Data capabilities with Open Parallel's know-how from Operating Systems to HPC, to increase performance and secure your operations. Open Parallel offers rapid R&D for your immediate needs and most radical projects, seamlessly integrated with your main development efforts. Customers see us as an extension of their engineering divisions. Our projects range from applications for IoT and Edge Computing, to Precision Agriculture and Cybersecurity. Within the SKA radio-telescope project we were member of the NZ SKA Alliance, first as part of the CSP (Central Signal Processor) and later contributing to the cybersecurity considerations at OS level for the SDP (Science Data Processor). Derived from our work at the SKA, we are designing our core product for the next generation of computing: TOPS (The Open Parallel Stack) - a distributed OS for an hyper-converged rack-scale compute island to enable to build applications to get over massive amounts of data and build machine understanding, to extract the signal from the noise. Most of our work is confidential but past customers have been Intel, ARM, Sun Microsystems, etc. We also offer global business strategy and market development -having worked with companies from the five continents. Sample of clients are Catalyst IT (NZ), Cendio AB (Sweden), Codeplay Software (UK). As part of our strategic ecosystem design and development every year since 2012 we organise Multicore World. Our own decadal project is Listen to the Land (L2L) -Agriculture Empowered by Supercomputing. Open Parallel Limited is a private company registered in New Zealand.
