The company was founded in 1996 under the name Doppstadt Danmark A/S and has served as exclusive dealer for Doppstadt since then. In January 2014 Doppstadt Danmark A/S became a part op the Swedish OP Group and in October 2014 the company name was changed to OP System Danmark A/S. After becoming a part of the OP Group, OP System Danmark A/S also became official dealer for Sennebogen Green line products.
