Overview

Design, as an area of study, pools in multi-disciplinary knowledge and perspectives that encourage initiative, communication, and collaboration as a means to grow. Exchange programs enable students to pursue an academic semester in foreign countries. OnExchange, was born out of the need to share the many student experiences while on foreign exchange programs. This community aims to benefit from the luxury of instantly sharing information on social media for productive learning for their peers in their home country, and students in other countries. The endeavor began as a curated Instagram profile for NID students that allowed them to share their exchange experiences. It has now grown into an inter-college platform that also includes industrial training, internships, and all other kinds of international experiences. It provides a window to the various design schools and colleges, and international events and spaces that students visit. OnExchange aims towards collaboration over competition and helps make international knowledge available through digital platforms.
