OUR VISION We believe that through sharing personal stories across the Black community, not only will our diversity be highlighted in a fresh, innovative way, but also the very idea of Blackness reclaimed and deconstructed. Allowing for the freedom of capturing Black culture through the prism of time and beyond. THE PODCAST - the Black Monologues The podcast is a homage to the rich African tradition of oral history; driven by the core belief that oral traditions guide social and human morals, which give people a sense of place and purpose. One of the central tenets of this is storytelling, which would be through various means, such as speech, song, poetry, narration, proverbs, monologues and anything and everything audible! &BEYOND Olorun Productions seeks to build upon the Black Monologues podcast by creating derivative content based on the interviews conducted, including visual media, experiential events and art exhibitions.
