Oleoline was started in the year 2000 by the HBI group. HBI has been publishing market reports on Glycerine since 1986. Initially Oleoline functioned as primarily an e-commerce trading platform. Since then online brokerage activities have been phased out and our market research reports have been combined with our consulting work. From January 01, 2011, Oleoline has been spun off into a standalone company. Oleoline reports are targeted at the Oleochemical and Biodiesel industries. Unlike other market report firms, Oleoline is unique in that it provides an independent and accurate portfolio of reports from the market. Each report is written by an experienced broker who has been handling a significant volume of the product for many years. Each report is then edited by senior industry figures that have spent most of their careers in the oleochemical business. As a result Oleoline's reports are significantly more reactive to market changes and equally importantly, not vulnerable to market player manipulation.
