NYDHEE is a not-for-profit organization, has been working with the agenda of empowering lives facilitating an institutional process for sustainable development. NYDHEE believes that appropriate and multi-lateral development in the society could be established through community participation, especially youth. With adequate facilitation, local youth can be the best managers of the local resources and possess the time tested knowledge for its sustainable use with ecological approach. Vision: A society where the people believe in participation strengthening the process of democratic governance Mission: Facilitating community institutions leading the process of sustainable development for uniform economy with environment friendly approach STRATEGIES These strategies are in line with NYDHEE’s Vision, Mission and Objectives; and are applied to all its thematic operational areas with necessary adaptations to suit the best to grassroots conditions. • Focusing on building and strengthening community institutions and community-based organizations that suit the best to their requirements. NYDHEE plays as a facilitative agency and builds skills among the community, especially youth, children, women and men – to prioritize issues & situations and to formulate and operate appropriate solutions. Capacity sharing through creating platforms for knowledge exchange has particularly been focused which pay supportive building the social, economical and environmental assets. • We are focused to building social capital and thus, very much youth and children centric with knowledge exchange platform with elders. We believe that children and youth – adolescent boys & girls are vectors for sustainable development and they need to support with adequate policies and practices. • NYDHEE has been committed to research assignments – being aware that solutions are location specific and with the grassroots communities.
