NUST Debating Society holds debates and declamations contests at national and international levels all year round. Notorious people have been called to our seminars, a few being the Italian Foreign Minister, AJK President Sardar Masood Khan, Umair Jaliawala and Muniba Mazari. Reckitt Benckiser gave us the honor of hosting their recruitment drive in NUST for the second year in a row. On top of all that, we have arranged trips to President and Parliamentary House, all organized by our hard-working members. NDS has been giving back to the society too. We hold a ticketed seminar by name of "IGNITE" where all the proceeds go to "NUST Need Initiative" to pay for the fees of underprivileged university students. Holding talks and constructive seminars on the prevalent issues has always been a priority, and the campaign "#ISupportTaxFreeEducation" was started by a member and promoted by us too. We are working to promote a healthy culture of honest debates to encourage young minds to discuss differences and present the facts with all the persuasion power. That is how we are contributing towards embracing the differences in opinions and making the world a better place to live!
