Northern ELM Mentoring Group was founded by Chris Clark. After more than 20 years in executive leadership, Chris feels called to focus the "second act" of his career on helping pastors amplify the effectiveness of their callings, in part by walking alongside them in mentoring relationships focused on strengthening leadership and management skills, and also by advocating for pastors' needs by educating laity about the unique challenges and pitfalls that pastors face and what we, as congregants, can do to better support and nourish them. Chris' mentoring and advocacy efforts are based on his executive management experience, as well as over two years studying pastoral wellness, needs and self-care. How might strengthening your managerial and leadership skills enhance your pastoral ministry? Northern ELM Mentoring Group provides an experience, faith-based mentor dedicated to accompany and walk alongside pastors to help address specific leadership and management challenges and opportunities that you may be facing in your calling. Mentoring efforts are customized to each pastor's individual situation and needs, and are offered on a pro-bono basis.
