Overview

We are creating a visionary urban area: a vibrant environment for people to live, learn, work and socialise in. The team works for and on behalf of the University of Cambridge and alongside developers, architects, consultants, engineers and many other partners and stakeholders to realise this vision for a sustainable and long-lasting place in the city of Cambridge. From breaking ground in 2013, we have successfully delivered the dynamic and award-winning Eddington neighbourhood, a new residential district open to the wider community. The ongoing multi-phase development of North West Cambridge is dedicated to creating a sustainable, mixed-use urban extension to the City, which contributes to the University’s ambitions to remain a world-leading institution in academia and research. Its a long-term and ambitious plan to meet growth needs for both the City and University. Eddington is at the centre of this development focussing on the provision of homes for the community and for University staff as key workers in addition to community facilities and establishing a sense of place and community spirit.
