Founded some 300 years ago, Nordeste builds on Japan’s long tradition of therapeutic medicine that originated out of Chinese medicine around the 5th Century. Our mission today is to bring healthier and more vital life to Japan’s very large aging population. We take advances in science and technology and transform them into innovative health and aging care products. Our product development begins with research and development of extracts of natural ingredients and compounds obtained from chemical synthesis. We take a scientific approach for verifying the safety and efficacy of these ingredients. Customers buy directly from us or by products from food manufactures that use our ingredients. We take pride and enjoyment knowing that our innovative products improve the daily lives of our clients. Corporate philosophy Our philosophy is "jin," which means "caring and compassion". "Jin" has been made famous through the words of Kaibara Ekken, a Japanese scholar from the 17th century, who wrote about medicine as a benevolent art, saying: "Have a heart of love and be willing to save people. Do not prioritize your own interests."
