Both companies were wholly-owned by Nipro Corporation, a multi-billion dollar company headquartered in Osaka, Japan and a world leader in providing medical products to the healthcare community. Nipro Diabetes Systems, formerly located in Miramar, Florida, was the manufacturer and marketer of the Amigo® Insulin Pump.
