About THE NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY aims to connect theory with practice offering both seminars and training sessions and an opportunity to perform live at an international event, the Linechek festival, one of the freshest european showcase festival taking place in Italy, during the Milano Music Week in November 2018. NIMPE is a project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, supported by Assomusica as leader partner – main live professionals association in Italy, DSI Swinging Europe (Denmark), NPO M.E.S.O. Events (Greece), Roots Music Organization (United Kingdom), SKUC Association (Slovenia) and Technopole Quimper-Cornouaille (France). NMF IN A NUTSHELL NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY (NMF) aims to provide an international experience for grassroots bands. Encompassing 5 national workshops, webinars and seminars and live performances, NMF will support professionalization of musicians and music professionals surrounding the band (manager, agent, promoter…). The first NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY edition will take place during the Milano Music Week at theLinecheck Festival, one of the freshest professional music showcases of Europe that provides both a Music Meeting and a Festival. THE NIMPE MUSIC FACTORY EXPERIENCE NMF is a full immersion experience into the music professionals world, with a specific focus on the five european countries involved in the first NMF project (Denmark, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, UK). All applicants will have a chance to follow either live or via the web, a national open day meeting on music management, an event in which the 15 finalist (3 selected bands per country) and a short list of proposals will be announced by the jury. Selected Musicians and Professionals will be invited for 3 days of international workshops, meetings and the opportunity to play live in the Linecheck Festival Line Up, from 22 to 24 of November in Milan.
