Overview

We are a vibrant, multi-ethnic, and fully affirming community of people who are are committed to accepting God’s invitation to write a new story in and through our lives. NewStory is YOUR story! There has never been another person like you. Who you are–what you love, how you laugh, what you grieve–has been created by God to make God known in a way that no one else can. God invites you to live into this new story, which is made possible through Jesus. NewStory is OUR story! We are a group of people from many different places. We have taken up the hard work of reconciling to one another across all of the barriers–race, age, gender, social, economic– that divide us. God is writing a new story among us where these divisions are being replaced by trust, honesty and authenticity through the power of the Holy Spirit. NewStory is a GLOBAL story! We live in a world that is not how God originally intended. Instead of a world of connection, trust, and belonging, our world is too often defined by power, privilege, oppression and hostility.
