New Jersey Operation Lifesaver, Inc (NJOL) is an independent 501c3 established in 1978 and incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey in 2002 as a public safety education and awareness organization dedicated to reducing collisions, fatalities and injuries at highway-rail crossings and trespassing on or near New Jersey’s railroad tracks. NJOL promotes rail safety through specialized educational programs and public awareness campaigns. NJOL is a member of the New Jersey Railroad Association
