Shawn Fry established the Neurodiversity Foundation in 2016 with a mission to champion a "Strengths First" approach, empowering individuals with autism and advancing research, testing, and awareness of autism in women. With a late diagnosis of autism, Shawn underwent a transformative journey, gaining a unique perspective on navigating the realms of neurotypical and neurodiverse experiences. This personal journey allowed Shawn to make significant contributions to our understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Despite achieving what many would consider success in the corporate world, Shawn recognizes that the remarkable abilities and talents of neurodiverse individuals are often underappreciated in traditional workplace and social settings. The Neurodiversity Foundation is committed to reshaping the narrative around neurodivergent capabilities, creating an inclusive environment where all neurodiverse individuals can embrace their authenticity and thrive in their interactions with the world.
