The art of manufacturing has been the heritage of Florentine artisans since Reinassance. In 1950, nello Gigli estabilished his firm of art decorations on Murano blown glass, inspired by Venetian XVIII century, exactly in Sesto Fiorentino, near Florence. In the course of years, the firm changed, extending its Italian market range, and starting to export its goods. Owing to the firm's constant research for style and taste, and the continuos change of consumer's demand, the current production is now focussing on furnishing accessories made of very thick glass with bronze and brass frame in 24-carat gold bath, as well as a full range of illuminating items. Mass production is not part of the strategy of the firm, which is based on custom products to a greater and greater extent. We are ready to meet requests of architects and interior designers, and to make products in relation to luxurious and exclusive furnishing projects. If nello Gigli is still one of the leaders in the Italian and foreign market is due to the factory philosophy of the General Manager that since 35 years, studies, draws and elaborates bay hand, with his staff, these elegant creations, useing materials MADE IN ITALY only.
