NEAR is a bridge-building initiative between The Netherlands and the Arab world in the field of design. We are all about transferring of knowledge about how to apply design in a client context, levelling up the design skills of teams and talent, helping organizations to transfer driven by design. Design consultancy Knowing that the creative industry and business world do not always go hand in hand, we can make the right connections. Our experience and access to a worldwide community of design experts allow us to help profit and non-profit organizations discover, activate and experience the impact of design. Design education We share knowledge and experience about design and build bridges to learn from each other. Designed to meet a group or individual's specific learning needs, we create customized programs that are delivered at a time and in a location that best works for clients. NEAR is able to prepare and implement training packages that ignite changes in organizations to drive efficiency and improve performance. Design events We have introduced Dutch design and designers at multiple design events in and outside the Arabic world, sharing our vision and knowledge of design. Similarly, we brought designers from the Arab world to The Netherlands. We partner with local organizations to curate events that showcase the potential of design and design talent, promote creative communities, and demonstrate design in action.
