Overview

The Naturopathic Medical Student Association (NMSA) is a student-governed 501C(3) nonprofit organization, established in 2003, to support and advocate for naturopathic medical students at accredited naturopathic medical schools and programs in the USA and Canada. The NMSA is comprised of student body leadership from each campus and collectively represents more than 3,400 naturopathic medical students at the 8 naturopathic medical schools in North America: • Bastyr University (Kenmore, WA, USA) • Bastyr University California (San Diego, CA, USA) • National University of Natural Medicine (Portland, OR, USA) • National University of Health Sciences (Lombard, IL, USA) • Sonoran University of Health Sciences (Tempe, AZ, USA) • Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (Vancouver, BC, Canada) • Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Toronto, ON, Canada) • Universidad Ana G. Mendez University (Puerto Rico) Mission: The NMSA acts as a unified voice for naturopathic medical students across North America. NMSA advocates for naturopathic medical students, and provides educational and community building initiatives that prepare students with the tools, experiences, and connections necessary to become successful physicians.
