Overview

The Native American Wolf Association (NAWA) will be a non-profit organization dedicated to wolf recovery, rescue, reintroduction and preservation through education. The mission of the Native American Wolf Association is to support the cause of the wolf as an endangered species and to commit to the restoration of wolves back into their natural habitats through legitimate recovery programs, captive breeding and reintroduction. And to Preserve that restoration through Education of both the wild wolf, as well as, the wolfdog. It is also the mission of the Native American Wolf Association to rescue wolves and wolfdogs from abusive and dangerous situations and to accept them at the sanctuary where they can live out their lives in an environment conducive to their natural instincts. NAWA will also do everything within it's power to expose the hidden cruelty behind the captive wolf and wolfdog trade and to actively campaign against unethical and misleading breeders. At NAWA’s sanctuary we will also employ people of the Native American communities both to work at the sanctuary and within our educational outreach programs that will utilize the lore and significance of the wolf to help foster and revive a new love for these amazing beings. Native American Wolf Association is founded by William Constantine - a professional wildlife photographer.
