Our founder, Rick Newbold, got the idea of creating the National Security Journal while earning his LL.M. in National Security Law at Georgetown University Law Center. He noticed that much scholarly research gets turned in to professors but never gets published. In other words, original ideas and research are graded...and then discarded. Rick decided this could not stand.
