The National Aviation University is a powerful aviation higher educational institution, that is well-known not only in Ukraine but also far abroad. The history of the National Aviation University dates back to August 1933 when the Kyiv Aviation Institute was founded on the basis of the mechanical department of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Thousands of its scientists and lecturers, hundred thousands of graduates have made a considerable contribution to the development of national and world science, techniques and industry; they became the active creators of scientific and technical progress. The University is a member of the Bologna Process that enables students to obtain diplomas of international standards and improve students’ mobility. The university professors and students collaborate internationally with universities in Spain, Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, France, South Korea and other countries.
