Natalija Jansone’s outfits are like Haiku in the language of fashion – elegant, timeless and cut precisely as precious stones. All the garments are made by hand with high attention to details while using only natural materials. Designer Natalija graduated from the University of St. Petersburg with a degree in Oriental Studies. She complimented this by studying at ESMOD Seoul, South Korea. This began the path of design that led her to where she is today. ABOUT COMPANY NJ Studija was established in 1997 working predominantly as a tailor-made design atelier. The company has designed costumes for the Latvian National Opera, Latvian National Orchestra, Latvian Olympic teams and for various stage shows and performances such as Eurovision Song Contest and Miss Universe, additionally, uniforms for AirBaltic airlines and staff outfits for several high-end restaurants in Riga and Jurmala. This developed into a custom design and tailoring work for celebrities and prominent individuals in Latvia and Europe. The company was re-branded in 2015 with a strong focus on ready-to-wear and contemporary fashion lines. Since then NJ Studija has expanded internationally - being recognised and participating in the Paris Trade Show TRANOÏ Femme and later on in October 2016 opening its own showroom in Riga.
