Shelia is a "Memory Catcher" and a Certified Professional Photo Organizer and founder of The Memory Montage. Our mission is to connect families through their photos and memories and create priceless treasures that can be enjoyed for years to come. Shelia grew up in the middle of a family of 12 and she values the importance of family and stories. Every family has stories to tell and a rich history to pass along. In the end, there are only stories. When her dad passed, she became more intentional about taking action to gather memories and photos to document the family stories. She started to sift through boxes of photos, photo albums, VHS tapes and CD’s and flash drives. Literally decades of photos were scattered throughout the house and trapped in outdated media. It did not take her long to realize that she needed a plan to gather and organize a lifetime of photos. Following industry archival standards, she created a system to scan and digitize all the paper photos into a manageable collection and then began to help others with their photo collections. The Memory Montage specializes in creating a custom permanent digital archive that not only contains your photos, but videos, audio files, and other important legacy documents. We help clients go from “photos everywhere“ to “photos organized” all in one place. We then help you document the story “behind the stuff” so that memories can be preserved for generations to come.
