MxSecure was founded in 2003 and provided medical transcription services and software and electronic health records (EHR) software to thousands of physicians and medical providers throughout the USA. In November 2012, M*Modal acquired MxSecure's transcription business, including its subsidiary, MxSecure Philippines, Inc. The company also sold its EHR business at the end of 2012.
