Overview

Muslim Children's Aid & Support Services (MCASS) is an Ontario-based registered non-profit corporation established in 2004. MCASS was granted charitable status by the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) in 2009. MCASS seeks to help empower children and the most vulnerable within the Muslim community while placing Islamic values at the forefront. We provide person-centred, culturally specific, and religiously appropriate programs and services which meet the specific needs of the diverse Muslim community. We advocate to place Muslim children in Muslim homes where they can flourish and preserve their identity. In the growing age of secularism and Islamophobia, the narratives of the Muslim community are being unheard and the needs are being unmet. As a Muslim agency, we acknowledge the various challenges, oppressions, and discrimination faced by Muslims. Therefore, we provide opportunities through which we can proudly embrace our identity, and maintain our resiliency and solidarity.
