Founded in Paris by the Colombian designer Álvaro Sánchez, Murumio has established a breakthrough in the field of jewellery aesthetics with its exotic language. Murumio’s identity derived from the deconstruction of artistic expression and is reinterpreted through aesthetical codes of pre-Hispanic and Latin American artworks. Preciously crafted, these jewels are conceived as symbolic traces in humanity, destined to remain in the memory and to coexist perfectly with the human body. The geometric forms are the result of the designer's technical expertise and his shamanic intuition. Extravagant yet measured, mystifying yet familiar, Murumio continuously transcends the obvious through its existential search for the unusual amongst the expected.
