Overview

Mukhrantubani Hotel opened for guests and all comers in September 2021. The concept of the project combines two architectural styles: -modern European “Swedish Lagom”, revealing the philosophy of moderation and balanced comfort - classic Georgian style, formed under the influence of East and West, but retained the original elements of ancient architecture, creating the unique image of Tbilisi. In this manner, you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the millennial history of the old city, with its inherent elements, and enjoy all the components of high modern service of our cozy and technologically advanced rooms. The hotel is located in the city center, not far from Freedom Square, between two streets named after the ancient Georgian holy poets – Shavteli and Chakhrukhadze. Also, it reflects the eponymous name and the amazing history of this old district. Mukhrantubani district is one of the 4 ancient districts of Tbilisi, perhaps with the most interesting history, after the ancient Narikala fortress, which is located in the neighborhood. In ancient times it was the most well-appointed and comfortable quarter of old Tbilisi, surrounded by the city wall, with several city gates, one of which is located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel entrance. It was also called the “Tsarist District” because of the large number of members of the royal family living there.
