Overview

Formed in 1967, Middle Tennessee Human Resources Association (formerly Middle Tennessee SHRM) was originally charter as an American Society of Personnel Administrators chapter. Over the past 50 years, MT|HRA has grown from a handful of forward-thinking executives to more than 1,500 members and is currently the 6th largest Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) affiliate chapter in the U.S. Our mission has always been, and continues to be, Supporting, Education and Connecting our members. MT|HRA's purpose is to be recognized in the communities we serve as leaders in Human Resources Management by: • Providing high quality, dynamic and responsive programs and services • Being the voice of the profession on human resources issues • Facilitating the development and guiding the direction of the Human Resources profession
