RAISING AWARENESS THROUGH CREATIVE EXPRESSION MoonLeaks.com is a social enterprise, which aims to become a collaborative production platform where thousands of people get together to create audio-visual materials that will help preserve nature and protect its creatures. It is a space that will raise funds, co-produce and showcase the creative expression of artists, projects, and groups that have environmentalism at the heart of their works. MoonLeaks harnesses the power of creative expression to improve the living conditions of beings that suffer and by highlighting stories ignored by other media. All profits from our productions, sales and subscriptions, will support stories and collaborations with projects which have nature and animal protection as their core values. We will not only showcase ongoing projects with an interest in nature, especially those aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals 3, 14, 15 and 17, but we will also conduct local workshops in creative and technical skills with the communities affected by these projects. We want to diversify the points of views and approaches with which our films are made, paying special attention to the inclusion of youth and women in all stages of the production. Skills in communication and technology can create future jobs, empowerment, self-awareness, self-worth and increase the continued impact of the stories being created by the local communities.
