Overview
MJ Structural Engineers was established in 2009, with the goal of creating a culture to work seamlessly with both architects and contractors while incorporating the overall goals of the project and finding solutions which provide the best value for the owners. As a company, we are working to realize this goal through communication, innovation, creativity, and a high level of engineering expertise. It is our desire to create lasting relationships that will benefit the entire design team, the contractor and the owner. MJ Structural is headed by Principal, Matt Jackson SE, who has 20 years of experience designing Institutional, Schools, Office, Commercial, Residential, Warehouse and Parking Structure projects. We offer a full range of structural engineering services which include Building Information Modeling, frame and foundation designs that consider weights, occupancy, environmental loads, and lateral forces. Our firm employs LEED Accredited Professionals, and is invested in sustainable projects that better our community. Staff at MJ Structural also includes four Project Engineers: Brendon Haywood PE, Suzanne Perry EIT, Natalia Kurcheva EIT, and Heather Gee EIT. MJ Structural employs a drafting staff, who is highly trained and skilled at both AutoCAD and Revit. MJ Structural Engineers currently holds licenses in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and Wyoming.
